We are excited to be recruiting for new talent to join our growing and innovative team – Junior Audiovisual (AV) Technician! The right individual must be mechanically inclined, adaptable to a dynamic work environment, and able to successfully meet the physical demands of the job. This position supports our Government AV/Video Teleconference (VTC) production and installation department.

The responsibilities of this role may include:

• Assists tenured Technicians with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Assists with configuring AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
• Assists with the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling
• Assists with the configuration of video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
• Assists with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
• Performs all other duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess a high school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant audio-visual work experience. This position will require CONUS and OCONUS travel, so you must be willing to do so. An active DoD Top Secret security clearance is strongly desired.

Additional qualifications include:

• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb
• Operating knowledge of all MS Office products
• Ability to follow basic flow diagrams
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
